The lodge is nestled in the trees along the Eastern Shore of scenic Little Doctor Lake, 60 miles west of Fort Simpson. Formerly the home of Gus and Mary Krause pioneers of the north, Nahanni Mountain Lodge is now owned and operated by Ted Grant, the owner of Simpson Air. This rustic Lodge sleeps eight- twelve people comfortably in two log cabins, which are fully equipped with kitchen items, propane fridge and stove and wood heaters. There is a beautiful sand beach, swimming, wildlife, and exceptional scenery at the front door. Boat, motor, gas, canoes, paddles, and lifejackets are provided for your use. Leaving at the end of a 3 or 7 day stay will be hard to do.
